The Land

Indigenous bushes and trees,
undisturbed.

At the edge of the Lolldaiga Hills, a sanctuary of immersive wilderness and refined luxury.

Each property is distinctive, anchored by mature indigenous trees and the natural folds of the highlands. At The Ridge you will experience a daily relationship with the elements: red soil, trees, birds, wind.

All five villas have access to a beautiful river where spotting wildlife is not a rarity. The Lolldaiga Conservancy guards the wild as your home overlooks it.

The Villa

Each villa blends into the landscape

Designed byDeepa Dosaja

The architecture exudes simplicity, space, natural materials, landscape-led placement, spaces for quiet. The design concept of these homes led Deepa to study how a home can influence calm, clarity and presence: spaces capable of shaping the way we feel, perceive and reconnect with ourselves.

Deeply sheltered verandas offer a secure vantage point to watch the weather roll across the hills. Good design is not only visual: it is how a home functions, flows, and feels.

The living room and the valley

Big doors dissolve the line between the living room and the valley below. Under exposed timber trusses, living, dining and the fireside share one continuous space, and the bush is always in view.

  • +Open-plan living, dining and kitchen under timber trusses
  • +Full-height steel doors folding open to the veranda
  • +Approx. 155 sq m (1,668 sq ft) of living space

Evenings by the fire

  • +Fireplaces in living room and terrace
  • +Large veranda under timber pergola
  • +Mono-pitch black corrugated roofs, steel-framed windows
  • +Wooden floors and wooden doors throughout

  • +Three ensuite bedrooms and guest cloakroom
  • +Bedrooms open onto expansive terraces
  • +Master wing with outdoor terrace, walk-in closet, bathroom with bathtub
  • +Staff quarters (DSQ) for two

Craft & Character

One-of-a-kind antiques, carried into the highlands

Each villa is anchored by original antique pieces, worked into the architecture: hand-carved doors that open onto the terrace, a teak barn door to the cloakroom, making each villa distinct.
